Coronavirus outbreak: 12 out of 54 African countries report infections

Twelve of 54 African countries have reported cases of coronavirus, but the region has seen fewer cases than outside the continent. We spoke to Dr. Michel Yao, head of the emergency response of the World Health Organization in Africa, for analysis. In addition, the Egyptian tourism industry is feeling the impact of the spread of the virus, with many concerned that the economic recovery will stop. Finally, the South African tourism association publishes new guidelines to condemn the domestication of wild animals for tourism purposes.
