The 32-year old Ghanaian has had a nomadic career which has seen him play for 12 clubs, including currently for Besiktas on loan from Fiorentina.
Boateng – who’s career started with German capital outfit Hertha Berlin in 2005, has scored 70 goals and provided 51 assists in 452 appearances.
His physical strength, tenacity and eye for goal has seen him net some amazing goals with the most efficient of techniques.
One of his most notable strikes came in the Champions League against Barcelona while playing for AC Milan.
He scored in two consecutive seasons against the Catalan giants, the first coming in a 3-2 Group H defeat at the Camp Nou in December 2011, while the second was in a 2-0 home win in the Round of 16 first leg in 2013.
