Malawi nurses go on nationwide strike against poor working conditions

The strike comes amid divisions in the country over whether or not to implement a lockdown. In Nigeria, President Buhari has denounced bandits who he believes are taking advantage of the lockdown. Gunmen are responsible for at least 47 deaths in northeast Katsina state in recent days.
