Thomas Mangani extends to SCO Angers

Angers on Monday signed a new contract for his captain, Thomas Mangani.

As suspected for a few days, Thomas Mangani will continue his journey with SCO of Angers. This Monday, the experienced midfielder officially extended his lease with the flagship training of Maine-et-Loire.

The left-hander from Carpentras signed a new two-year contract with SCO. He is now linked to it until 2022. He thus imitates Rayan Ait-Nouri and Farid El Melali who had been extended before him.

Mangani has played in Angers since 2014. He is the captain of this team. He participated in the team’s association with the elite in 2015 and has since chained 155 games (and 17 goals) in Ligue 1. He also distinguished himself in the role of passer with 22 assists delivered on the edges from Maine.

On its official website, SCO strongly welcomed this news, indicating that “Thomas has chosen to extend his adventure in the city of King René” and that “his singing accent will continue to run in the corridors of Raymond Kopa Stadium for a while still … “.
