In France, Covid-19 had 66 new deaths in 24 hours on Wednesday, according to authorities. However, the number of intensive care patients is still decreasing.
The Directorate-General for Health (DGS) announced on Wednesday, May 27, in a statement that 66 new people had died in 24 hours after Covid-10, which means that the total number of deaths in France amounts to 28,596.
DGS also indicates that the number of people admitted, especially in intensive care, continues to decline.
The number of people in hospitals for Covid-19 infection dropped to 15,680, 584 fewer than Tuesday. Resuscitation services treated 1,501 patients with Covid-19 on Wednesday, 54 fewer than the previous day.
