When it comes to statistics, the Dortmund striker is more productive than Cristiano and Messi at the same age. But it’s behind the R9.
Better numbers than Messi and Cristiano
Nordmannen has 41 goals in 65 matches between Molde, Salzburg and Dortmund. It’s better than the records of Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, the two big stars of the decade, when these two were at the beginning of their careers. Messi had played 70 games with 26 goals before the age of 20, although his percentage has improved, as has Haaland over the years. Cristiano Ronaldo, for his part, a total of 104 matches between those honored at Sporting de Portugal and Manchester United. And he had collected only 16 farmers.
Ronaldo Nazario remains on top
Haaland is therefore better than the duo in question. However, he cannot boast having the same caution as the Brazilian Ronaldo. The latter scored 42 goals in 46 games at PSV with a spectacular average of 0.91 goals per match before making the big jump to Barcelona. The Norwegian ratio is lower. That’s about 0.64 points per game.
The Scandinavian bows to the R9, but one can imagine that its profitability will go to crescendo. It improves with time and this can be seen by the numbers. In Molde and Salzburg he averaged 0.35 per match, while in Dortmund he averaged one goal per match (1.05).
