RC Strasbourg has just hired the services of Valencienne midfielder Mahamé Siby.

With the 2019/2020 season barely over, RC Strasbourg has already started planning for the next one. This Thursday, the Alsatian club validated the signing of Mahamé Siby, a young and promising midfielder from Valenciennes (23 years). The duration of the contract is three years. The amount of the transaction has not been disclosed.

“He is a player with real potential, who comes to work and grows with us”, said Loïc Désiré, head of the recruitment unit on the Alsatian club’s website.

The interested party also welcomed this transfer and evoked his impatience with the progress of Ligue 1: “By entering Strasbourg, I realize a childhood dream,” says Mahamé. This is a real development for me and I am happy to join Strasbourg, a very beautiful city that lives for football. I also look forward to meeting my future teammates. “

Born in Bobigny, Siby has spent two full years with the pros. He is of Malian origin, but has French nationality.
