The Indian “StopCovid”, a mass surveillance tool?

While in France, the controversy surrounding the StopCovid application, intended to enable tracking of Covid-19, is raging, in India the similar application launched by the government has met with dazzling success. In one month, Aarogya Setu (A Bridge for Health) has crossed 100 million download marks. But some condemn the collection of private information and worry about a mass surveillance tool, in the name of the fight against the pandemic. Reporting in New Delhi.
