Covid-19: In Quebec, immigrants “guardian angels” hope to be regulated

Many healthcare professionals in Canada continue to exercise during the coronavirus crisis. But these “guardian angels”, who go to Ephad or to homes for dependent elderly people, are often asylum seekers. They are exposed to the virus, they take risks for their own health and, in the absence of documents, do not have a health insurance card. Voluntary organizations are mobilizing to demand their regulation. Report from our Montreal correspondent.
