Guardiola would have found Arteta’s replacement

According to information from Spain, Pep Guardiola has identified the person who should help him in City to replace Arteta.

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has chosen to invite Juanma Lillo to support him in his coaching role. This is what the most important Spanish diaries (AS and Marca) reveal this Friday and specifies that this 54-year-old technician would take the place left vacant by Mikel Arteta.

Arteta had left her role last December to take up the challenge that awaited her at Arsenal. So far he had not been replaced. After careful consideration, Guardiola therefore chose to surround himself with another competent person.

Lillo is not unknown to Guardiola because the two men were already working together in Mexico (2005), when Catalan ended his playing career.

Lillo, who was recently in charge of Qingdao Huanghai, has posted Jorge Sampaoli in Seville FC and in the Chilean squad. He also walked a lot as coach number 1 for 30 years.
