In an interview with the Los Angeles Times, French striker Antoine Griezmann (29) reveals he wants to end his career in the United States.
Antoine Griezmann would see himself ending his career in the United States, in the North American Championship (MLS). French striker FC Barcelona revealed in an interview with the Los Angeles Times on Thursday.
At 29, Griezmann explains: “Winning La Liga and the Champions League with Barça is a dream, and also my goal. After winning, no matter what happens, there is another World Cup (to be won) in Qatar. And then, MLS.”
“A goal to end in the United States”
Griezmann explains that he does not yet know in which team he will play, “but I really want to play it”he says. “For me, it is a goal to end my career in the United States, with the opportunity to play well and be part of the team fighting for a title.”
This is not the first time the former Atlético Madrid player has expressed his attraction to the United States. Big fan of the NBA, among others, he would see himself living his American dream one day. But he does not plan to leave FC Barcelona immediately.
With the Catalan club, he is preparing to return to the competition next week. Barça moves to Mallorca on June 13.
