PSG should be different from Laurent Aumont, assistant to doctor Christophe Baudot and Brazilian physiotherapist Bruno Mazziotti.
After confirming the departure of Chief Executive Martin Buchheit, Paris Saint-Germain should choose a reorganization of its medical staff. According to L’Equipe, the capital’s club has decided to step down with Laurent Aumont, assistant to number 1 physician Christophe Baudot and Brazilian physiotherapist Bruno Mazziotti.
To replace Aumont, PSG was able to choose an internal solution with the marketing of Doctor Savigny, medical director of the U17 team. A decision that comes after several tensions have been sent between technical and medical staff this season.
Mazziotti came on the advice of Thiago Silva
For his part, physiotherapist Bruno Mazziotti had joined PSG in the summer of 2018 on the advice of Captain Thiago Silva. Two years later, the adventure should end for him, too.
Note that L’Equipe also reveals the identity of Martin Buchheit’s replacement. According to our colleagues, Italian Gian Nicola Bisciotti, chief physiologist at the Aspetar sports medicine center in Doha (Qatar), should replace him.
