Anne Hidalgo is largely given in front of Rachida Dati in Paris

Enhanced by its alliance with environmental activists, outgoing mayor Anne Hidalgo receives the benefit of the second round of the municipal elections on June 28 in Paris, in an opinion poll published on Sunday.

A first poll for Paris since the lists were deposited on June 2 gives the list of Anne Hidalgo and David Belliardgagnante for the second round of the municipal elections, June 28.

With 44% of the intentions of the vote, the outgoing mayor arrives in the head before Rachida Datis (LR, 33%) and AgnèsBuzyn (LREM, 20%), according to an ifop-Fiducial survey published in JDDThis is the first survey for Paris since the lists were deposited on June 2 for the second round of June 28.

About 3% of the contested Parisians choose to vote on a “different list”, either Cédric Villanis (former LREM) or DanielleSimonnet (LFI), according to this survey also conducted for Sud Radio.

A poll, which opened before the first round on March 15, attributed 41% of the vote to a joint list of outgoing Socialist Mayor Anne Hidalgo with David Belliard (EELV), 33% to Rachida Datis and 26% to a possible alliance between AgnèsBuzynet Cédric Villani, which was never sealed.

This latest survey was conducted online between 2 and 5 June among 974 people registered on the electoral lists in Paris according to the quota method. The margin of error from 1.4 to 3.1 points. Voting interests do not constitute a forecast for the results; they give an indication of the balance of power on Election Day.
