The Croatian international Ivan Rakitic has expressed his desire to stay in Barcelona until the end of the lease.
Rakitic spoke in an interview with Tportal to assure him that he has little intention of moving. “10 or 15 days ago I talked to the club and I no longer need to talk to them because I have a contract until the summer of 2021 with Barça, the organization within which I want to be and play. In addition, my wife and children are good in this city. I have no reason to think of anything else, he said.
The name of Rakitic was mentioned specifically to be included in an exchange with Miralem Pjanic. But discussions in this direction have not borne fruit. The market value of the former Sevillian does not correspond to the Bosnian international.
Rakitic has played in Barcelona since 2014. He has had 299 matches and 35 goals in all competitions. He is the oldest employee behind Piqué, Messi, Busquets, Jordi Alba and Sergio Roberto.
