Roma tracks Dejan Lovren

If they fail to get Chris Smalling, giallorossi officials hope to recruit Croatian Dejan Lovren.

According to the revelations from Gazzetta dello Sport, AS Rome is studying the possibility of recruiting Dejan Lovren the experienced Liverpool back.

The main club thinks of the Deputy World Champion as an alternative to Chris Smalling. The latter plays at home on loan this season, but he is expected to return to Manchester next August.

Lovren (30) still has a year on the Anfield side. But since he is no longer in Jurgen Klopp’s little paper, it is certain that the Merseysiders will not be very demanding for his services.

If he joins the Louve, Lovren finds his Croatian teammate there, Nikola Kalinic.
