Police say money from Kenya seized at Mogadishu airport

Somali Police Force Commander Gen. Abdi Hassan Hijar said a large amount of money from Kenya was seized at Mogadishu airport.

The commander praised the troops for seizing the money, noting that they were investigating.

“I congratulate the police officers at the Aden Adde International Airport for seizing large sums of money that were smuggled into the country on a plane from Kenya,” said Commander Hijar.
