Central African Republic: UN withdraws Gabonese peacekeepers after allegations of sexual abuse

In this edition, hundreds of Gabonese blue helmets will be removed from the Central African Republic following the latest allegations of sexual abuse. Gabon says the latest accusation is exceptionally serious.

In addition, dozens of civic groups in Uganda have been suspended. Many human rights workers say it is part of a pattern of repression. And South Africa’s largest rhino breeder is pushing to sell horns that it legally cuts from its animals to keep poachers at bay.
