Felicien Kabuga trial: Rwandan genocide victims hope for solutions

After greater than 20 years on the run, Felicien Kabuga was arrested in Might 2020 close to Paris.

Wealthy and well-known, the 87-year-old was accused of financing, coaching and inspiring the Hutu militia referred to as the Interahamwe throughout the 1994 genocide towards the Tutsis.

As his trial begins in The Hague, the hearings in Rwanda might be intently adopted by victims of the genocide. Particularly, they hope to study extra about planning atrocities. Our correspondent stories.
