Guantanamo, 20 years after: Former prisoner Mohamedou Ould Salahi in FRANCE 24

It has been 20 years since the first prisoners arrived at the US military prison in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, on January 11, 2002. At its peak, in 2003, the detention center housed nearly 680 prisoners. Mohamedou Ould Salahi was one of them. He explains to Jowharhow he was taken from his home in Mauritania in 2001 and eventually held in Guantánamo Bay for 14 years without charge.
