In the French overseas department of Guadeloupe, it is more difficult to fight the Covid-19 pandemic than in France. Hospitals in the Caribbean archipelago lack adequate medical staff and equipment. At the same time, hand washing, an important way to prevent the transmission of coronavirus, is often impossible due to regular water shortages in some regions. Our reporters traveled to the islands to meet with healthcare professionals and residents.
