French celebrities help raise awareness of endometriosis

Endometriosis can cause paralyzing painful periods, is a common factor for infertility and affects about one in ten women. But for years it has been overlooked by both the general public and doctors. That is now starting to change. In France, Info-Endometrios, a group working to fund research and educate people about the condition, has launched several awareness campaigns.
