Tate Brothers Charged with Multiple Offenses, Including Rape, in England
Online influencers Andrew and Tristan Tate are currently facing multiple charges in England, as confirmed by prosecutors.
Andrew Tate faces ten accusations, among them rape, actual bodily harm, human trafficking, and controlling prostitution for profit concerning three alleged victims.
Tristan Tate is up against 11 charges, which include rape, actual bodily harm, and human trafficking involving one alleged victim.
An international arrest warrant was issued for the brothers over allegations that span from 2012 to 2015, which they firmly deny.
A separate case against the Tates, alleging human trafficking and the creation of a criminal organization to exploit women sexually, has been referred back to prosecutors.
The brothers are set to be extradited to the UK once the legal proceedings in Romania have concluded.
“We can confirm that charges have been authorized against Andrew and Tristan Tate for crimes including rape, human trafficking, controlling prostitution, and actual bodily harm involving three women,” stated a spokesperson for the Crown Prosecution Service.
“These charges were based on a file of evidence provided by Bedfordshire Police.
“In 2024, a European Arrest Warrant was issued in England, prompting Romanian courts to order the extradition of Andrew and Tristan Tate to the UK.
“However, primary criminal matters in Romania need to be resolved first.
“The Crown Prosecution Service emphasizes that these criminal proceedings are ongoing, and the defendants are entitled to a fair trial.
“It is crucial that there is no reporting, commentary, or sharing of information online that could potentially harm the integrity of these proceedings.”
