Another individual has been charged in connection to an alleged assault at a London nightclub involving R&B star Chris Brown.
Omolulu Akinlolu, a 38-year-old American citizen, is facing charges of grievous bodily harm with intent and is set to appear at Manchester Magistrates’ Court on Saturday, as reported by the Metropolitan Police.
Both he and Mr. Brown have been charged in relation to an assault that allegedly occurred at the Tape venue in Hanover Square, Mayfair, on February 19, 2023.
Chris Brown, aged 36, was charged on Thursday with grievous bodily harm with intent and appeared in Manchester Magistrates’ Court on Friday.
The court heard that the victim, Abraham Diaw, was standing at the bar of the Tape nightclub when he was struck multiple times with a bottle and then chased into another area of the club where he was punched and kicked repeatedly.
Chris Brown has been remanded in custody and is scheduled to appear at Southwark Crown Court, London, on June 13.
The singer reportedly arrived at Manchester Airport on a private jet Wednesday afternoon in preparation for tour dates in the UK in June and July.
He was arrested at Manchester’s Lowry Hotel at 2 AM on Thursday by detectives from the Metropolitan Police.
